- Why is a farmers market in St. Johns important to you?
- A farmers market is important to me because I believe in community outreach. Farmers markets offer a unique shopping experience for neighbors as well as for those living outside of the community it serves.
Having a farmers market in St. Johns will give our neighborhood an opportunity to showcase what St. Johns has to offer as well bringing seasonal produce and goods to our community. I also think local businesses will benefit from increased foot traffic to the plaza while the Farmers Market is operating.
I am encouraged by the shopping local movement and having the farmers market will enable more people to have access to local items. I think this event will help to strengthen neighborhood pride.
